What is Punishment?

Punishment means "penalty for a wrongdoing or a reprimand." The act of punishing materializes into a punishment.
In the Bible, the punishment for a sin or an act committed against the will of God is being confined to hell. The equivalent of a hell in the spiritual world is prison for man in the physical world. A crime against men can be punished legally in the form of a monetary compensation or imprisonment.

What is Rehabilitation?

Rehabilitation means to restores one’s self through education al programs. Today’s society, the majority of prisons use this method because they think it will reduce crime rates. National Congress on Reformatory Discipline found that that the first discussion of rehabilitation happened in 1870 by the National Congress on Reformatory Discipline.
